Q. My baby is in the NICU, can we still do a First Day Photo session?
A. Yes! Your First Day Photo photographer will be happy to serve your family in the NICU.
Q. When do we schedule our First Day Photo NICU session?
A. Many families opt for scheduling their session to celebrate baby’s NICU graduation. As you’re planning discharge, let your baby’s nurse know you’ll be scheduling photos so we can work together to plan the best time. Typically we will capture these images the day before or the day that baby goes home.
Q. My baby will have a long stay. Can I do photos sooner?
A. Yes, we can do your NICU session whenever you’d like as long as it’s ok with your baby’s care team. We don’t edit out NG tubes or wires/leads, but we are happy to work around them.
Q. How much notice do you need to schedule our session?
A. If you are scheduling a session for baby’s NICU graduation, text us as soon as you know what your discharge plans are. Use the contact buttons at the bottom of this page.
Q. My baby is having surgery. Can we do photos beforehand?
A. Yes, as long as it’s ok with your baby’s care team, we’d be happy to capture a session before baby’s surgery.
